Nominations for the Director Election will soon open.
There are two positions available, one three-year term post representing writers across the spectrum, and one three-year term post representing audiovisuals writers.
On the nominations form you will provide information about yourself along with a 600 word biography, detailing why you would be suitable for this position.
You will need to provide the details of four other ALCS members who nominate and support you.

Nominations for the Board Director Election closed on 14 October 2024 and candidate statements will be available on 28 October 2024 when the ballot opens.
What happens next?
On 28 October 2024, you will receive a communication from us letting you know you will be able to:
- Vote online for election candidates
- Vote online for AGM agenda items or submit a proxy vote (this is for members who cannot attend the AGM in person and vote)

Your vote is important
As a member you have a say in how we're run. You can do this by voting for your chosen candidate(s) in the Board Director election and the AGM is your opportunity to influence the direction of the business by voting on Agenda items, and by asking questions of the Chair and the Executive.

What happens next?
Voting for the Director election will close at 12 noon on 18 November 2024. You have until 25 November 2024 to vote for AGM agenda items or submit a proxy vote should you wish to.
