Elections are being held for the following governor vacancies:
- Public: Amber Valley – one vacancy
- Public: Bolsover and North East Derbyshire – two vacancies
- Public: Chesterfield – one vacancy
- Public: Erewash – two vacancies
- Public: Derby City East – one vacancy
- Public: Derby City West – one vacancy
- Public: South Derbyshire – one vacancy
- Staff: Medical – one vacancy
The Trust welcomes nominations from persons of any age (over the age of 16), race, colour, religious belief, ethnic or national origin, sexual orientation, gender, disability or marital status.
Should you stand and be successful, your term of office will begin on 1 February 2025, and you will be expected to attend an induction session on Wednesday 5 February 2025 from 2pm-3.30pm in Derby. (You may be able to attend this session virtually.)
Finally, we would like to thank you for your continued support of Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and encourage you to apply to become a governor. If this is not for you, please use your vote to elect the public member you want to represent you on the Council of Governors.
Please note: members of staff cannot stand in the public governor elections. They automatically become staff members of the Trust upon appointment. Staff members are encouraged to stand in the staff governor elections.
